Stellar Science
What you can expect
Get weekly hand-on experience performing scientific experiments and models of scientific
phenomena. In our Stellar Science program, students will be introduced to various concepts
and principles within biology, chemistry & physics.
- Perform experiments using safe-to-use materials.
- Work in a collaborative environment.
- Our dedicated mentors will also provide feedback each week to ensure students are
engaged and understanding the concepts each week.
Why is it beneficial
Science is a way of interacting with and uncovering the mysteries of how the world works
around us:
- Students learn how to think scientifically, and investigate using scientific
experimentation. - Get invaluable, regular, hands-on experience performing real experiments.
- Learn interesting concepts to a depth that goes beyond the primary classroom.
- Being introduced to scientific concepts early fosters a fluency and passion for science
that will carry on with them as they go through life.
